Flower Power Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to providing aid and support to those in need of mental health services by passing our profits along to Mental Health America, the nation's largest non-profit agency supporting mental health equity and advocacy.

Yes, all donations made to Flower Power Foundation are tax-deductible. Flower Power has been granted non-profit status as a public charity pursuant to Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.  Flower Power will provide you with written acknowledgment of your donation and of your ability to deduct it for tax purposes.

The monthly subscription cost for the flowers is not tax-deductible, as it’s a purchase of goods, not a charitable contribution. Only payments that exceed the fair market value of what the buyer receives, or separate donations, may be deductible. However, a donation, above the subscription rate is tax deductible!  Please consider donating to our cause!

No. Flower Power's Board of Directors volunteer their time and are not compensated. The "profits" of our non-profit all go to Mental Health America.  Addi Laird, the founder and CEO of Flower Power Foundation, started the organization to help those underserved struggling with mental health conditions.  Marge Durenberger, a former prosecutor and judge in Sacramento County, acts as Treasurer for the organization, seeing that all monies are used efficiently and properly allocated.

Flowers are delivered to your address near major holidays.  The anticipated schedule for deliver for 2024-25 subscription is as follows, an email confirming exact times and dates will be made about (7) days before the delivery dates:

1. Thanksgiving (Nov 23-29)
2. Christmas (Dec 20-23)
3. Valentines Day (Feb 12-15)
4. St. Patrick's Day (March 14-18)
5. Mother's Day (May 9-12)
6. Fourth of July (July 1-5)

Great idea! There are two ways: (1) email us or (2) When you input your delivery information into PayPal, simply put the name and address of the person to whom you'd like the flowers delivered! Please note, at this time, we are only delivering to the greater Sacramento area. If you want to confirm who will receive your flowers, go ahead and email us at flwrpwr.org@gmail.com

Lucky you! You can still support our cause with a subscription or donation.  Consider gifting your subscription to someone who lives in the greater Sacramento area and we'll deliver your flowers to them! Alternatively, consider donating at a monthly rate comparable to the subscription rate ($9.99/mo).
